The Saf-T-Brace features a robust, all-metal electrical box with a wiring capacity of 21.5 cubic inches. It supports light and heavy fans and fixtures, making it ideal for retrofits. Whether you need to install a fan or a heavy chandelier, Saf-T-Brace provides reliable support.

Versatile Use

Saf-T-Brace is suitable for both new construction and remodeling projects. For ceiling fans, it supports up to 70 pounds. For lighting fixtures and chandeliers, it accommodates up to 150 pounds on 16-inch centers and up to 50 pounds on 24-inch centers. The larger capacity electrical box makes it ideal for handling bigger electrical projects.

Safety and Convenience

Install Saf-T-Brace through holes large enough to accommodate the mounting box. It includes a Saf-T-Cap to protect bolts and wires during drywall installation and painting. The foldable teeth on each end lock easily into ceiling joists, and the multiple thread adjustment ensures a secure fit.
